Motorola has released a video teaser for the Moto X50 Ultra that will be the next flagship phone of the company after the 2023 Moto X40, Edge 40 Pro and Edge Plus 2023 (these were the same phones with different names in all the different markets).
Last month the phone was appeared on several regulatory websites, including FCC, and hopes it will first appear in China with an artificial leather back and 4500mAh battery that supports 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
It also expected to feature a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Jane 3 application processor (AP) under the hood. If Motorola continues its recent naming traditions, the device that launched as the Moto X 50 Ultra in China will be known as the Moto Edge 50 Pro in the global market and the Moto Edge + 2024 in North America.
The teaser video sponsored by Lenovo the Formula 1 car is shown racing to show the speed of the new handset. It also represents state-of-the-art AI features whose Motorola indicates in teasers, which lasts for a full 24 seconds. If you don’t know, China-based Lenovo is the parent company of Motorola.
The video came from a Weibo post (via GSMArena) in which the F1 China Grand Prix is mentioned. The video also showed a quick look of the phone, featuring fake leather back and rear camera array in the upper left corner of the device.
